Adlan Cruz

AldanCruz_smAdlan Cruz was born November 28th in Bayamone Puerto Rico.  A famous concert pianist and composer, Adlan's life as a musiican was sparked by the gift of a toy piano from his mother at the tender age of five.   Recognizing his prodigious talent, Cruz's parents enrolled him in private piano lessons from the start.  As a child; Adlan developed a deep passion for classical music through time spent at his grandmother's home with his family.  Cruz was particularly influenced by the compositions of Russo Sergei Rachmaninoff and Hungaro Franz Lintz

When Adlan was 15; he decided to play piano professionally in order to help pay for his training.  When Cruz was 17 he went to the United States and studied at the University of Hartford where he developed into an award winning classical concert pianist.  In 1992 Adlan Cruz became an Ambassador for the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, traveling to every corner of the globe spreading and sharing his music to thousands of people.  Adlan uses his musical talents to help make the world a better place, playing for disaster relief of Tsunami victims left orphaned and homeless.  Adlan is a member of the renown organization, World Vision and has created his own Foundation in Brazil helping over 200 students realizes their educational dreams.  A winner of countless awards and honors Adlan Cruz will be performing at the SCJH Latin Festival to continue his pledge of getting education to  deserving children around the world.
